Can Life Exist on Other Planets

Ever wondered what planets would be suitable in our Solar System for either people or animals to inhabit? Find out on this quest.

Task:

You are an astronomer researching the solar system. You have to form an oral report on which four planets are most suitable for life in our solar system. In order to complete this task, consider the Atmosphere, day & year length, and the temperature of the certain planets.

Process:

1. Research the topics using the above links.

2. Choose the four most suitable planets.

3. Write down all the information that is required including things like atmosphere and temperature.

4. Research Comets Asteroids and Meteors and explain why these are inhabitable.

5. Present an Oral Report containing:

1. Introduction

2. About suitable planet 1

3. About suitable planet 2

4. About suitable planet 3

5. About suitable planet 4

6. Explanation on comets and asteroids

7. Conclusion of what was found.

EVALUATION:

You will be marked on the following:

1. Performance of the Oral Report

2. Realistic choice of Planets.

3. Presentation of Pictures and Diagrams

4. Use of the above Sub-topics.
