HABITAT

Tin Can Bay plays host to many marine species. Amongst these species are the ever popular IndoPacific Humpback Dolphins. There are two dolphins which have ventured to the Tin Can Bay coast ramp for a long time. These dophins are fed by tourists and locals alike.

Other marine species include Dugong, which also inhabit Tin Can Bay waters, though they are rarely seen. Fish, crabs and prawns are also caught in abundance.
